Power Word Lists
In Kindergarten, we will learn at least 50 high frequency and power/sight words! Sight words (also known as snap words) are words that we read and write often and can be recognized without needing to sound them out (we can read them in a snap). We will also learn about heart words...words we have to memorize by heart because they look different than they sound.
